Juniper Square entered their AI journey with clear ambition but a familiar challenge: fragmented adoption, uneven confidence across teams, and no scalable way to build a consistent foundation. As a fast-growing tech company with employees spanning multiple continents, they needed more than enthusiasm — they needed a structured, repeatable approach.
"We were already pushing hard on AI internally — incorporating it into performance competencies and messaging to employees that their performance would be evaluated against it," said Vittoria Reimers, SVP of People. "But we needed something scalable. The peer-to-peer learning we'd built was great, but it was hard to scale."
Juniper Square and Clarinet built a structured and scalable ecosystem for AI adoption around four strategic engagements:
To make adoption stick, AI couldn't be an "extra" task—it had to be part of the job description. Clarinet helped Juniper Square integrate AI competencies directly into the organizational DNA, from hiring for a growth mindset to reinforcing AI-driven behaviors through performance frameworks.
AI training is strategically timed 30–60 days into a new hire’s tenure—the "sweet spot" where they understand their role but haven't yet hardened their habits. By facilitating monthly sessions focused on real-world work situations, Clarinet ensures every new employee reaches a baseline fluency that transforms AI from a novelty into a standard operating procedure.
To move from AI interest to execution, 60+ managers participated in a change management intensive designed to connect AI directly to their departmental goals. This wasn't a "sit and listen" session; it was a catalyst for functional ownership.
Clarinet worked with the People Team to begin to dismantle and rebuild core processes from scratch. 4,000+ hours of annual time savings were identified to help the team define their automation roadmap.
Juniper Square and Clarinet are continuing to build together as the floor of AI skills keeps rising. With Claude Cowork now rolling out across the organization, the work shifts from building baseline fluency to keeping pace with a tech stack that's actively evolving. Clarinet now offers Claude Cowork training for new hires instead of Fluency to keep up with Juniper Square’s evolving AI sophistication.
Reflecting on Clarinet and Juniper Square’s partnership so far, Vittoria shares, “What makes Clarinet different is their desire to understand us first. Before any content was built, they wanted to know our workflows, our language, how we onboard. That level of investment in context is what turned a vendor relationship into a genuine partnership.”

Tools alone only take you so far. We build the skills, habits, and workflows that turn adoption into ROI.
